Too often, auditors find mismatches that raise red flags—services performed without clear indication, codes that don't justify testing, or documentation that fails to distinguish between problems addressed and problems investigated. In this session, we’ll break down how to approach diagnosis coding for encounters that include both E/M and diagnostic services. You’ll learn how to assess alignment, educate providers, and ensure coding accuracy that supports both compliance and clinical clarity.
